Here’s every Xbox Series X game available at launch
A whole slew of games are coming out for Microsoft’s next-gen consoles on launch day and over the next several weeks.
None of them are truly “exclusive”, as almost all of them will be playable on Xbox One and / or PC as well. This is because many of the games in the following list are upgrades or ports already released on Xbox One and PC, such as Fortnite, Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4.
Still, the good news is that you won’t have any sort of shortage on Xbox Series X | S when it releases tomorrow. In addition to all of the launch games, if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, many of these titles will also be backward compatible on Xbox Series X.
So while there aren’t really any Xbox Series X exclusives to get excited about – one of the many reasons I wrote that you shouldn’t be in too much of a rush to buy a new console. generation – there are a lot of titles that will look better and play better on the new system. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, for example, it looks great and plays well on Xbox One, but it will be even prettier and smoother on the X series.
Here are all of the games coming to Xbox Series X and Series S at launch.

Let me know if there is anything missing from this list and I will add it. As you can see, this is a pretty decent sized bundle of old and new titles. But the real heavyweights, like Halo: infinite, are still far away. The lack of true Xbox Series X exclusives is also a problem, and one of the reasons I wrote that a PS5 makes more sense as a next-gen console purchase.
What next-gen games are you most looking forward to? And which console are you planning to buy or are you getting both? Let me know about Twitter or Facebook.
